Hi,

This is annoying but it is not a Twibbon bug. Twitter will sometimes pull an old picture rather than the new one if you add a Twibbon immediately after changing your picture. Here is what to do -

1) Change to a blank profile picture on twitter – as in a brand new un-twibbonised one

2) Sign out of twibbon.com and twitter and wait for 30 mins

3) Sign back into twitter THEN into twibbon and see if it picks up your new, blank profile picture (it should)

4) Hopefully you can just work on top of a blank avatar now!

Hi thanks for your comment and we have taken this and others concerns seriously and in the new release of Twibbon there will be an option to hide these images from public view. Thanks for your patience.

Hi it is not good news at the moment, the problem for us is because it happens so rarely we cannot replicate it to fix. This does not help you we understand and be assured we are always looking at this.
What would be useful is to know what operating system and browser you are using if you experience this problem. Please email support@twibbon.com with any information you have.

We think this is an excellent idea and we are now starting the planning required to implement it for a handful of core languages, expanding over time.

As well as the tweets themselves we need to consider how much of the rest of the twibbon cause page needs to be translated to make this really useful.

What you need to do is make sure you are not logged into FB then refresh Twibbon page and log in via FB connect button, that should work!

Unfortunately we are unable to do this at present. We will let you know in the future if this option becomes available.
